Hi, I’m Meagan.

Three main things:

1. I try to enjoy the little things in life. Sometimes not so well.

2. I’ve always felt that spirituality and faith is an important part of my life and I try to be the best person I can be.

3. I’m experimenting with this blog. So forgive me if it doesn’t make sense sometimes. I want to use it to document the various crafts, activities, and events that comes up in my life.

Why Paxie?

People ask me, what does “Paxie” even mean? researching words that mean “peace” I found “Pax” to be one of the prettiest-sounding words. It has such a beautiful tone. Just before I was creating my blog, I stumbled upon this quote by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, ”People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” I really found that to be so true and perfectly encompasses the peace that I want to settle in my heart.

Sometimes I get so caught up with all of the small things: what I need to do, how people perceive me, or how I should act. I forget to think about my faith as a way to help me through the struggle. The beauty and the colors of your actions, like the colors in a stained glass window, is just a mere reflection of what goes on in the inside. You can’t radiate the beauty of life if there is nothing that truly inspires you from within.

Please join me on this journey to really discover myself, who God created me to be, and where I can see His beauty in my life through my friends, family, and experiences He throws my way.
