Babies and Bunting

Hello! Melinda and Eddie’s Friend Baby shower was last Saturday. We did a family one a couple of weeks ago but did not post pictures on that since we were using the same decorations. (Ahem Melinda) HA.

It was kind of a mixed theme: a little bit carnival, a little bit bright colors, and a “POP-ed” themed as well. Weird, but it turned out good, I think. I really didn’t get to take that many pictures of everyone, but here are a few:

My Mom actually made almost 300 feet of bunting for these parties! Big props to her.

We actually made almost 40 pinwheels for the party!

Look at this beautiful diaper cake that Justin and his mom made!

Thanks Missy for emceeing the games! You are the best. Seriously.

Thanks a bunch to everyone who helped set-up and clean after. You rock! especially you, Ashley. :]

Melinda and Eddie had a great time and really appreciated everyone coming to celebrate with them. Baby Ave Maria Sosa is lucky to have so many people that love her!

Let’s party!

A couple of weeks ago, I planned a party for our sister company for passing their state audits. Other than the 98+ degree weather outside, it turned out pretty nicely!

Sorry my pictures have been so sucky right now, this blog will see a new camera in the near future! (ahem)

We had Sushi, Crepes, BBQ, Smoothies, Ice Cream, and desserts! Tons of great food and amazing people!

I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked to take pictures. I was pretty busy all day. It was such a good time, and everyone loved it! Hooray for party planning!

Graduation Party Decorations

Yesterday, Katrina had a party to celebrate her graduation from UCI. She’s an amazing photographer. Check out her website here. Katrina and her boyfriend Jeremy, are an amazing photographing duo. If you ever need pictures for Prom, dances, weddings, or other special events, they’re awesome! They’re also some of my closest friends. We’ve served in ministry together for almost 8 years!

Anyways, I helped her for her graduation party. I basically got a few decorations for the dessert table, and I used some of the cake stands and vintage plates I found at various thrift and antique stores. She got all of the candy and food, I just arranged and put it together. Doesn’t it look great?!

I bought and covered vintage books I found at the thrift store and they ended up looking great!

We used them for the centerpieces as well:

We went a little bunting crazy. Haha.

It was such a fun night! I love you, Katrina. Thank you for all that you do. You’re amazing and work so hard for St. Paul and give 100% all of the time. I’ve always admired you – you’re one of my best friends! Happy graduation!
