Paxie Polaroid #1

For my birthday last year, Martin bought me this camera…which was pretty much the best present ever.

So, I’ve been desperately trying to save these films which, mind you, are about $1 EACH. (yikes) I love them to death. They are so cute, and you can pretty much use them for a lot of different things. If you’re interested in finding one, I bet you can find them pretty cheap now on Amazon or on Ebay, since they have some newer versions out already.

I want to give you a little taste of the pictures I’ve taken. Each “paxie polaroid” will have its own memory and story attached to it. It could be something short or long depending on who’s in the picture, what it means to me, or what I was going through at that moment.

Polaroid numero uno: This was taken this past Fourth of July weekend. Martin and I spent time with Eddie and Melinda at their apartment. We were able to hang out, catch up, relax, and play games. This was during our game of Bananagrams. Such an awesome game! My letters just happened to spell out Paxie. Coincidence?

Anyway, I want to start a tradition telling stories through these polaroids, and hopefully make a collage of all the different pictures one day. What do you think?
