One of the great things about New Orleans is the art. Indubitably. I love art. Any kind of art. The streets of Bourbon, Royal, and Canal are lined with tons of talents artists, magicians, musicians, and vendors waiting to see if any passerby would stop to admire their work. Many of these people have come long ways and have such a rich back story. You can tell just by looking at them.
Martin, being a musician that he is, always stopped to listen and appreciate the music surrounding us. He always tipped them too.
Every chance we got, we would look at what they would do. It took quite awhile for us to walk around because we stopped so many times!
I mean, we couldn’t resist with all of these beautiful things!:
This guy was sitting out in the heat for a loooong time! I didn’t even realize he was real until I went a little bit closer and saw sweat dripping from his nose:
Honestly, I can go on and on about the sounds and vibes of New Orleans, but I won’t. Let’s leave it at how beautifully talented the city is.
Art can come from everywhere and in everything, but only if you open your eyes to see it.
