Wedding Bells and Beach Landscapes

Last Saturday, Vanessa and James got married! It’s wierd to think that they are finally married. They are such incrediable people. James is such an inspiration to my spiritual life and Vanessa was one of the first people in Teen Council to really befriend me. We hung out all the time in high school and was the reason why I truly want to become a Reyes. Well, she isn’t technically a Reyes anymore, but still one at heart. Like me. :]

The wedding was so great. I had such a great time… and it was such a beautiful day.

I am surrounded by such beautiful people. :]

Can’t forget the freeze frame high five from the secondary sponsors!

huzzah for Mr. and Mrs. James Long!

Wedding on a Boat

Yesterday, Martin and I went to Tesa and Justin’s wedding… and it was on a yacht! can you believe it!? It was amazing.

These pictures are courtesy of Martin’s talented photographer uncle, Jake Martin. :]

What to do with old (or new) Mason Jars

I love love LOVE mason jars! They are so freakin cute. I use them for everything!  For all of my events, I use them to decorate for toppings, drinks, and vases. You can find them at any thrift store (which is where I usually get them) OR any grocery or retail store outlet. I’ve seen them at Smart&Final, Albertsons, Food for Less, Wal-mart, or Target. AND, they’re pretty cheap… only about $9.99 for a dozen. Not too shabby.

Here are some of the cutest and most clever ways to use an old mason jar. Some of these are so awesome, I wish I came up with them myself.

Brilliant, for individual sized drinks from the blender:

These awesome cupcakes in a jar from the fabulous Cakies Blog…I follow her ALL the time. One of my favorite blogs :]

For special events: I love all of these wedding inspirations. I especially LOVE the bottom right one. You can use them for a sign-in table and it doubles as their drink cup! I can’t even tell you how fantastic that is.
